Setting Up Personal Access Token in Github

In order to set up a personal access token in Github, you’ll need to first log into your account. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Settings” tab at the top of the page, and then select “Personal Access Tokens” from the menu on the left.

From there, you’ll see a list of your current personal access tokens as well as the option to generate a new one. To generate a new token, click on the “Generate New Token” button. You’ll be asked to enter a name for your token and select the scopes, or permissions, that you want the token to have. For most users, the default scopes will be sufficient.
